Stranger bought my school books

The Pocket Compassion Story

I was trying to sell my books after my classes at the University. Walking back to my car disappointed that only one book was sold at less than half the price, I began to cry because it meant that I wasn’t able to afford my books for my next classes or have enough money for gas. I called my roommates to vent to them about my experience from my car. An older woman, a stranger walked up to me and handed me $200 in cash. She said she was visiting the campus with her niece. She happened to park next to my car and overheard my conversation. We hugged and she handed me this card. Funny enough my birthday is May 23.
